Is There a Doctor in the House?


SYNOPSIS:

A civil war has raged for years between Mitoa and Thessaly, resulting in countless dead and maimed. Xena and Gabrielle rescue the pregnant Amazon Ephiny and learn that her centaur husband Phantes was killed by the Mitoans while trying to protect her. They take her to Hippocrates' "healing temple" where she will be safe; then Xena sets out to stop the war. The fighting strikes close to home when Gabrielle is mortally wounded and Xena fears she will lose Ephiny and her best friend. Through her healing skills and stern counsel, Xena is able to save her friends (including Ephiny's baby centaur son) and end the war.


DISCLAIMER:

Being that War is Hell, lots of people were harmed during the production of this motion picture (but since television is a dramatic medium of make believe, all casualties removed their prosthetic make-up and went home unscathed).
